Cookie Chanel is a one tough cookie! Sole proprietress of It’s Vintage Y’All, a vintage clothing store, Cookie has a great taste in fashion, especially with the classic ones. At an estate sale, the ghost of the recently murdered socialite, Charlotte Meadows, appears to her, and asks for her help. Charlotte believes Cookie would be the one who’s going to uncover the mystery and discover her murderer.
Shocked and bewildered, Cookie consults her next-door friend, tarot reader Heather, thinking she could help her drive the ghost away since Heather could talk to spirits. But to her dismay, Heather is actually a fluke. An Ouija board and a mysterious cat that appears from nowhere proved to be her helpful allies in Charlotte’s murder investigation. Well, there’s also Detective Dylan who makes Cookie’s life quite exciting, especially after a second murdered body is found.
This isn’t my the first time I read a ghost-came-from-dead-to-avenge-her-death story. Earlier this year, I read about another light-hearted mystery novel featuring the ghost of a prominent woman in the society and her daughter-in-law is the only one who could see her. There’s also the bestfriend dabbling in paranormal/psychic abilities and an undercover agent who’s going to help out the main character. The major difference is of course, the plot, and that the ghost in the book was fashion-challenged and quite a bi*ch, as compared to this one by Rose Pressey, whose ghost was well-dressed, well-mannered and well-loved by people.
Major & minor similarities aside, I actually liked this book. I’m all for fashion and murder and mysteries. When these 3 topics collide in a story, I’ll be sure to read it. If You’ve Got It, Haunt It is bewitching, Cookie, Charlotte, Wind Song, (and yes, also Heather) had me under their spell. A fun and enjoyable read that will get you hooked in minutes.

Rock ‘n’ Roll is Undead, No Shoes, No Shirt, No Spells, How to Date a Werewolf, and Me and My Ghoulfriends are available on Kindle, Nook, and Smashwords. Only 99 cents.
Rose Pressey enjoys writing quirky and fun novels with a paranormal twist. The paranormal has always captured her interest. The thought of finding answers to the unexplained fascinates her.
When she’s not writing about werewolves, vampires and every other supernatural creature, she loves eating cupcakes with sprinkles, reading, spending time with family, and listening to oldies from the fifties. Yeah, she loves Elvis. She can’t help myself.
Rose lives in the beautiful commonwealth of Kentucky with her husband, son and two sassy Chihuahuas.

Cookie Chanel has a passion for fashion–and a murder mystery to solve!
Cookie Chanel has opened her own vintage clothing boutique, It’s Vintage, Y’All, in the charming town of Sugar Creek, Georgia. Always on the lookout for stylish second-hand steals, she attends the estate sale of deceased socialite Charlotte Meadows. But she gets a lot more than she bargained for when Charlotte’s ghost appears before her–offering fashion advice and begging Cookie to find out who murdered her.
As the persistent poltergeist tags along and a possibly psychic pussycat moves into the shop, Cookie sorts through racks of suspects to see who may be hiding some skeletons in the closet. Do a clothing store owner and a disembodied socialite have a ghost of a chance of collaring a killer–or will Cookie’s life be the next one hanging by a thread?
Don’t miss Cookie Chanel’s Fashion Tips!
