This illustrated guide book for wedding cakes is definitely useful and highly recommended. Not only it gives insight of the type of wedding cake a betrothed couple should choose, Sam Siv also introduced and informed the readers the history on how cakes became customary pieces in wedding events. How to choose the perfect cake for your wedding based on your preference, motif, style and budget were also discussed in the book.

What I loved most, however, were the pictures of all the assorted types of wedding cakes; they were all beautiful and mesmerizing. I am actually amazed by the creativity of the bakers who baked, decorated and crafted those wedding cakes posted on the book. I don't think I can choose only one among the collection of wedding cakes, almost all of them are my favorites! But those that really stood out to me were the beach-inspired sea-shell wedding cake; the one where the cake topper was placed on the lower tier, and the black chocolate cake with while decorations. I'm glad I bought this book, it will surely help me get an idea for my sister's upcoming wedding.

Another great wedding guide book from Sam Siv! I got this one for my mom who loves doing centerpieces and table decorations. Give her five different flowers and she will turn that into a big beautiful bouquet. Rightly so, for my sister's upcoming nuptials, my mom is tasked to help with the table decors and centerpieces and I'm glad she liked this book a lot. Not only it gave her various ideas for the themed centerpieces, being artistically inclined, she also took notes of the different do-it-yourself ideas incorporated in the book. Me, I was already beaming with joy by just looking at the pictures of the masterfully artistic wedding centerpieces shown in the book. Truly a helpful wedding guide!
