the strength of a father

I learned something about my father today and it devastates me. I know I have not been the ideal daughter or role model to my sisters and brother, but still, he has always told me that I have a good head on my shoulder and that he is so proud of me. I have nothing but grateful words for him.

Now I saw this quote and I suddenly miss him. A Lot! It's true, there nothing else quite as strong as the gentle strength of a father's hand. But now, he needs to be stronger. I need to be stronger. I need to be strong for my family. My father needs me.. and I just want to say... He can count on me. I love you Tatay!
