Basketball fans like me are still in high spirits after last night's jampacked championship game between Smart Gilas Pilipinas and Iran. Although we lost the crown (or broken trophy, for that matter! -_-) to the shawarma nation, Coach Chot and Gilas players already have scored a ticket to Viva La Espania - Spain! for the 2014 World Cup!

Haddadi (where's Hamommy? Lol!) and his Iranian team would also be there, and so are the K-Pop, I mean Korean team. It surely is going to be a once-in-a-lifetime chance! Imagine, Pinoys getting the much coveted World Cup! What more if we could turn it into a reality?!
Truly, our country was united as one last night. Even PNoy and other politicians were in the audience to show their support. At the end of the game, tears still flowed from our eyes because Jimmy Alapag, Marc Pingris, Jason Castro and the rest of the team fought with all their might and showed the world that we are the team to beat! PUSO! Laban ng Lahi. Gilas Pilipinas!
