It was more than 5 years ago when my former officemates introduced me to the hip coffee shop in Angeles City. The Coffee Academy.

The Coffee Academy is a household name in Pampanga when it comes to serving coffee blends and delectable dishes. What distinguishes Coffee Academy from other shops is that it uses Kapeng Barako (local coffee bean that is now near extinction) as the main bean for Coffee Academy’s house blend. The coffee house only uses local quality beans from Sagada Mountains, Cavite and Batangas plus all syrups and sauces are made from 100% sugar cane with no artificial flavouring.

Some of the establishment’s best sellers are Café Mocha (expresso-based chocolate), Black Forest (ice-blended expresso-based frappe) and Cookies and Cream (top choice for children since it non-coffee based and has a sweet- cholatey flavour). Here are their bestsellers:

Their sinful chocolate cake? Simply divine!

The place itself was comfortable and not stuffy. A lot of "parokyanos" go there to relax and have intimate moments with their loved ones. As a coffeeholic, I highly recommend this place.

I wonder when am I gonna go back there?
