powerless

last Sunday, there was a town-wide power outage (brownout) in our area and it lasted 16 hours!! whew!! it was so hot the whole day - when you actually prayed for rain but it didn't come at all.. :(

11am - 4pm, my family went to SM Clark to blow off some steam and took advantage of the aircon.. we were actually supposed to watch either Kung-Fu Panda 2 or X-Men First Class, but when the kids saw Quantum Arcade Center, all hell broke loose.

Kyle immediately went to the Token Station and asked his dad for a dozen tokens! Inasmuch as I'd love to watch young Professor X & young Magneto, hubby and I had no choice but settled with X-Men vs Street Fighter game... haaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!! With our combined persuasion powers (my hubby's and mine) - we were clearly powerless against our two kids.
