GT: A Summer to Remember
I hope I'm not yet late for our weekly Girls Talk! sorry for the delay, i've just been back from
I guess the best Summer of my life!
I just came back from our super long family vacation in Pangasinan. It coincides with our annual barangay fiesta and family reunion. Truth is, I haven't been home to celebrate Fiesta with my relatives ever since I started working almost 10 years ago. Well, at some time during my "dalaga" years, i only managed to visit for about two days and not all of us Navato's (from my moms side) were ever complete.
But this year, it's different. I brought my whole family from Pampanga and all my mom's brothers came all the way from Manila for our family reunion. Even my dad (who flew from U.S.) came by and joined the fun. I was really happy and excited to be with my cousins and their families. Look, my celebrity nephew, CJ Navato also spent days of fun and bonding with us! (He did a dance number with other teenstars on Happy Yippeee Yehey in Lingayen last April 30).
The kids were also not to be outdone. My nieces and nephews were all having a good time too. At the beach, in our backyard, at the mall, at the barangay fiesta peryahan and everywhere else. Heck, they even brought their own gadgets to beat the heat and adult boredom (LOL) by playing with their Nintendo DS, laptops, iPods, iPhones, iPads and Blackberries. Sheesh! the kids are so modern these days, i don't think they know how to play Piko or Tumbang Preso :(
And lastly, what made this summer the most memorable one - is because it was the time when I announced to the whole Navato clan that my hubby and I are expecting! Yes, as I've mentioned in my previous post, I am actually on my 6th weeks of pregnancy! By December, our third child will be born :)
overall, I can say this is the best and most memorable Summer of my life.
That's all folks. Till our next Girls Talk! Miss you all!

Looks like you had a fun time! I miss the days of old, too, when kids played piko and tumbang preso.
