this is really is it...
finally... everything worked according to plan.
Good thing is, our counterparts in the U.S. and our managers have agreed on a mutual decision - and that is Embarq U.S. will pay us for our years of service, etc. Yesterday, my teammates and I have finally ended our stay in Embarq and have signed our clearance.
And we are all so happy because we were rightly compensated! They gave us our well-deserved separation pay! (Basic X # of year of service + MATA + leave creds + 13th month + Tax & Purse Reimbursements)
I won't divulge the amount that I got (4 yrs! yeah!) but let me just tell you... IT WAS REALLY WORTH IT.
Thanks Embarq.. Thanks for the good times. Thanks for the memories... Thanks for my new-found friends. Thanks for the big fat cheque! Thank you!
The company that took over the account I was holding have decided to stop their operations here in the Philippines. Embarq actually merged with CenturyTel and the states (in U.S.) that Embarq formerly handled have converted to CenturyTel, the States which my teammates and I are working on. (EMBARQ + CENTURYTEL = CENTURYLINK.) Up until April, 90% of all the States have been acquired, therefore, there are no longer cases and accounts that needs to be worked on.. So the outsourced account I am holding is now closing.
