dear santa...

I miss being a Santa Mailer.. Long ago, when I was still working at my old company (AOL), every December, we would read emails from children who wrote to Santa Claus (aptly called Santa Mails) and we are then called Santa's Mailers.

Children from all over the world who had AOL accounts or those who know Santa's email will write to us and in return, they will receive "replies" from Santa's hardworking elves - that's us!  Here's a sample of an interaction between Santa and mini-"Me"..

Dear Santa,

I've been a good girl this year. I brush my Teeth every after meal and wash my face before going to sleep every night, just like mom told me to do. You see, I've been obeying her with no complaints at all :)

Christmas is here! I imagine you riding on your sleigh, with Rudolph in front. Santa, here's my wish.. All I want for Xmas is Nintendo Wii. If you give it to me, I'm gonna be happy, wiiii!! :D

Thanks for letting me know what you want this year! I always find getting
letters like yours extremely helpful, since it helps to give me a better idea of what you want for Christmas.


Your wish, however, is a little more complicated than a toy, making it a little harder for me to pull through. Please remember that if you don't get exactly what you wished for, it doesn't mean I didn't try my hardest!


Now, don't forget to leave a plate of cookies and a glass of milk out for me on Christmas Eve. Chocolate chip is my favorite! (hint! hint!)
