TCP: Lovely Bones

I;m re-joining Tuesday Couch Potatoes this week, which i failed to do so last month due to my hectic schedule..

For this week, the topic is about movies by DreamWorks and my choice is The Lovely Bones which was shown at the early part of the year.

The Lovely Bones is the story of a teenage girl, Susie Salmon who, after being raped and murdered, by her neighbor, watches from Limbo as her family and friends struggle to move on with their lives while she comes to terms with her own death.

I first  heard of this movie from the book. Author, Alice Sebold captured my interest about this young girl who was trying to find justice for her death, and in doing so, discovered other souls who also fell victim from her ruthless neighbor. It was such a heart-breaking story, from start to finish, I recommened bring a pair of hanky when watching this.

Three of the greatest actors also star in this film: Susan Sarandon, Rachel Weisz & Mark Wahlberg.
