Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here, ever this day, be at my side, to light and guard, rule and guide.
Amen.

this was the first prayer i learned when i was a child. and this is also the first prayer that my sons have learned.. as early as now, i'd like to establish their faith in God and be grateful with the things & blessings that He has given us..

raised and baptized as Catholic, i learned a great deal about God, not through my teachers or parents, but through the Bible.. long before i became a bookworm, i remember getting acquainted with the Lord through our Altar at home by flipping through the pages of the Holy Bible..i first learned about Jesus & his Apostles before my Religion teacher taught us about the Sacraments..

i guess this started my lifelong journey of knowing HIM and praising Him, both in print and in action..

in high school, i studied in a Catholic school and became a Cathecist.. it was an overwhelming experience, being able to teach children about God and His works, and learning a great deal more about him as time went by.. until now, i still behave like a teacher in front of my kids when i read them stories from the Bible..

with this i can say, that my faith in God has not wavered but remained strong after all these years...
