action-packed weekend
as promised, last Saturday, Hubby and i went on a date, armed with popcorns and a huge coke tumbler. we watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine!! it was really an awesome action-packed film, no dull moment from start to finish.
Hugh Jackman is the perfect man to portray the role of James / Logan, the passionate brother of Victor Creed - Sabretooth and lover of Kayla / Silverfox. indeed, there are no other actors that could have given life to the most celebrated mutant in the X-Men series.
i used to watch the Uncanny X-Men when i was a child and Wolverine was my favorite, second was Beast.. i was not much into Cyclops nor Jean Grey, but Gambit & Rogue's love story always made me sigh..
anyway, the film was full of superb fight scenes and entertaining characters. Ryan Reynolds as Wade/Deadpool was specially HOT HOT HOT, along with Daniel Henney (Agent Zero - shoot first before asking). Liev Schreiber did a great job with Sabretooth, who was ruthless, mean and dangerous.. *sigh* i can go on and on with the movie, but i just have to sum this up by saying - X-Men: Origins Wolverine is i can say that this is the best movie i've ever seen so far..

Sunday - another man of action and determination caught my attention as PacMan emerged as the (still) greatest Pound-for-Pound Fighter in the world, after beating Hatton. and Friday has been made as PacMan's day.. way to go, dude!
