emotions

pain crept,
sorrow hugged me
doubts stumble along my way
and fear is not far behind me...

there are sounds in the night,
sleep isn't inviting me in
nostalgia appears before me,
and your memory fades slowly...

my left ear hears a shout
the right one listens to a whisper
my mind keeps on bugging me
and my heart falls apart to break free.

i wonder why i feel this way,
i ask myself, "what's wrong with me?"
i then answered, " i don't know"
but my alter ego says, i've got to let go...

hands clasped,
fists gripped,
emotions surpassed,
eyes got blind..

i cannot go on like this,
all the time
tell me, tell me
what's next in line???
