a Royal adventure

my family and i, together with in-laws (mother/father/brothers-inlaw), spent Easter Sunday in a resort located in Bacolor Pampanga.. it's called the King's Royal Hotel & Resort.. Kyle & Kian enjoyed frolicking, sliding and running through the area.. i can't say "they swam", because my kids dont know how to swim.. but they sure had lots of fun under the sun!

King's Royale is a vast resort with lots of amenities to offer.. aside from the luxurious hotel rooms, coffee bar, clubhouse, they also have the Big Wave pool (10wave) which creates frenzy to swimming enthusiasts.. they got a kiddie pool with 2 slides.. and another pool for teens with 3 giant slides.. and encircling these three separate pools is a long winding side pool..

it was already past 10 am when we got there.. luckily, we already had reservations there so we didn't get into trouble looking for cottages.. we brought three baskets for our lunch meal - grilled tilapia, sauteed eggplant with soy sauce, green mangoes with alamang and pancit canton..
as for our skin color - well, i have to say that i am now a certified Nog-Nog... i actually got toasted!! ugh! i should have stayed undreneath our bamboo sheds instead of staying in the water for a long time.. yes, i put on a lot of lotion on my body, but the sun's agonizing UV rays still penetrated through my skin.. now, i have patches all over and my back is stinging with sun-burn.. ewww!!

but amidst these toasted skin, my family and i will never forget our Royal adventure.. the waiters, the crew, the resort people were all accomodating and smiling.. we truly had experienced royal treatment which is fit for a king.. 'till next time, King's Royale!
