something sweet

here's something my husband and kids did during my birthday... something that melted my heart and made my birthday complete :)

as i was walking home last monday night (Feb.9) after a day's work, i noticed my hubby standing by our gate. he looked like he'd been standing there for a long time, occasionally peeping and ducking his head.. (usually, when i get home, he is still in our room still sleeping, or playing PSP)

anyway, when i was finally at our gate, Hubby opened the door for me and kissed me. then i heard silly voices behind him. i noticed he had a stemmed flower on his right hand and he handed it to me. the flower was an artificial one.

Hubby said, Hi, Hon, happy birthday! then behind him came out my two sons, Kyle & Kian holding two separate stemmed flowers too.. together, Kyle & Kian sang Happy Birthday to me and said, Mommy, For You! .. and they, too, gave me their flowers..

[i realized that these were actually part of the rose plastic bouquet that was displayed in our dining area!]

yes, even though they've given me plastic roses for my birthday, i was touched with my three men's sweet gesture for me.. oh, di ba, at least, di matutuyot or malalanta yung roses ko.. LOL..
