my flower boy...
Last Sunday, i let my two boys ran around the basketball court with other kids. Kyle, being the Kuya, guides his little bro on how to properly shoot the ball.. but of course, both of them can't reach the ring.. so here's what i did... i encircled my arms in front of me, forming the shape of the ring, and i told them to shoot the ball inside my encircled arms.. Kyle was very happy when he managed to score!
my youngest one, being the jealous brother, then came near me and held his right hand up high.. i asked him, what was that for.. Kian smiled and said, "ako din, ako din!"...
so i placed my hands in front of me again, formed a circle and Kian tried to shoot the little ball. although he missed, i still hugged him and told him that he can always try again... so he didn't stop until he was able to shoot that ball!
we stayed at the park for about an hour.. my husband wasn't able to join us at first because he had to fix our car.. then he came back to fetch us.. but before we finally left, Kyle went missing.. i didn't know he wasn't following us.. when i looked around, i finally saw him in front of an abandoned house that has a flower garden. Kyle picked a flower and handed it to me and said, "Mommy, flower for you!"
i asked kyle, "why are you giving me a flower, baby?".. he smiled and said, "kasi, para kang flower, Mommy.. maganda ka rin."
and with that remark, he already made my day ....
