to care, to give..
last week, i was riding on a jeepney with my brother-in-law when four older women (ages ranging from 40-50) sat down beside us and started a rather short yet meaningful conversation...it was obvious that they recently went out of the theather house & watched Caregiver. Their talk went something like this..
(then she started crying)
(she noticed Woman # 1 crying)
then they looked at each other and everybody laughed.
truly, the movie Caregiver has touched a lot of lives. i remember in one of Sharon's interview, what we saw in the film is just 1/10th of what the real caregivers are doing in other countries. Tears have fallen down my face when i was able to catch the full trailer of the movie. truly heart-wenching. my heart goes to all our modern day heroes who sacrificed a lot for their families, who braved the icy cold weather, who painstakingly took care of the every needs of the ill ones and who have decided to stay even if they are getting homesick..
to our heroes, we are truly proud of what you do.
