my recent holy week

part three of my storytelling re: long weekend getaway...

after that hello mumoo experience, i spent the remainder of my weekend in solemnity and in the arms of my kids.

i saw my high-school buddies at the church. most of us grew old, but we still look great :) most of us are happily married and have been blessed with kids.. it's nice to see old faces again. it brings warmth to my heart, knowing that they have been once a part of my life. surely, everyone of us had matured in our own little way, but our friendship still remained intact..

my youngest son, Kian was also a revelation. little did i know that he can already sleep even without asking for his milk bottle. before, he had to cry and shout mamam milk.. mamam milk... before he sleeps. but now, he's able to sleep by himself.

another thing is, he's now more interested in books. before, he would just play with his coloring books, tear them or scribble on its pages. but now, when he sees me reading, he'd sit beside me and say, mommy, read.. mommy, book! and i'll read him magical stories.

Saturday was made special by my mom when she cooked our favorite rice cakes & sampelot.. and the rest of the day was spent riding on the wheeler (bike with side-car) with my cousins and nieces..

Sunday, we had to go back to Pampanga because it's back to work on the day after...
