missing my kid...
i'm back at work.. but i'm still not well.. you can still hear occasional "barkings" from yours truly due to cough.. damnit.. i hate it when i'm sick.. i can't do my job well, i cant think well, and i can't talk to anybody else because i'm always coughing.. grrr..
anyway, as stated on my previous post..(nilagnat po ako) i can't help but feel sad because i miss my kids so much... ahhh.. my precious darlings... … … *sigh*
my mom took Kyle for a short vacation in Pangasinan last Saturday.. the day i got sick. every hour from the moment they arrived there, i've been texting them, (my mom and siblings) to check on my little tyke.. whether he ate already, or changed his clothes, took his vitamins, whether he missed me or his dad or his bro… stuffs like that.
so whenever I hear my phone beep, I get giddy and excited at the same time.. my mom would tell me, “kyle’s sleeping on his stomach, tulo-laway pa!” and then my sister would text after an hour, “ate, kyle’s soooo makulit! He’s running around again..” the next day, my brother’s text is: “ate, he’s here at the gate, watching people pass by and he’d say “ang ganda mo po!”…. ahhh.. my little kyle.. I missed him much!
last night, i called up my brother, Nash and asked for Kyle.. when kyle grabbed the phone, he screamed "ay, si mommy!!! mommy, mommy!! amish you" and then tears ran down from my eyes..when i told him to come home because i really missed him a lot, he said, mommy, we'll go to Jollibee again? ... i said, yes baby,,, yes we'll go to jollibee and then he gave the phone immediately to his tito Nash and shouted, uwi na tayo!!!...
there were butterflies in my stomach after that phone call.. my bunso, Kian looked at me, wondering why i was crying / sniffing.. as if he understood my dilemma, he placed his hands on my shoulder and asked for a hug... i returned his embrace and i told him, your kuya will be coming home tomorrow.. yipee!!"
today, i received another text message from my mom.. she said, "we're here at Siesta, Tarlac, kyle can't wait to be home.. but he insist that we drop by Jollibee first before we head home. see you after work.."
ahhh.. my sweet little thing! jollibee's forever bestfriend... my mini-me.. my baby kyle's coming home..
yahoooo!! i can't wait to go home!!!

Ooh..I know how it feels.
ReplyDeleteI almost cried after reading.
I have an 8-month old daughter. There was a time when I woke up, I found none of her.I panicked.I ran outside the house and I saw my husband exposing her to morning sun rays.I pinched him! "why didn't you wake me up?!!!I thought she has been kidnapped!!"
She's a part of me.I can't think of anything when she's not around.I have to look after her, always.
But you know, there's one thing I hate about her.
She's so maka-daddy!!Grrrr!!!
Please look for my post entitled CRYSTALS.I made it for her. There are pictures too.
After 3 yrs perhaps, I'll have a baby boy also! LOL
Uhm ps.Your baby boy's soooo cute!!
How sweet of him to tell you
"amish you"
I remember when I have to wane my second child because he's allergic. My Mom took him to Los Angeles for five days, and I was missing him so much, I almost jumped into a plane and got him back.
