hello mumooo...

this is still part of the long weekend get-away post that i want to share with you my dear readers...

i just had to change the title of my post because of this spine-tingling experience i had that evening when it rained in our place.

actually, ganito ang nangyari.

that evening, after the rain has stopped, i asked my cousin Coleen to drop by the grocery and buy me a toothbrush because i forgot mine at home. my mom said not to go out in the dark since it just stopped raining. pag tumitila daw ang ulan, yun yung time na lumalabas ang mga multo. i told mum to dismiss that idea coz it's freaking my cousin out. so nagpunta pa rin si Coleen sa grocery. she brought her umbrella with her.

a few minutes later, when she went back to our house, it's as if someone tapped my left shoulder. i looked around me but no one was there. i shrugged and went to the dirty kitchen to brush my teeth, while Coleen got my baby from my mom's lap and undressed him.

after a minute or two, there it was. on my left side facing our living room, i saw a floating image of a woman in a white dress with long hair facing the electric fan. the woman looked wet all over. i blinked my eyes once and she was still there. parang nagpapatuyo sya ng damit at buhok. i thought she was my sister, Weng, so i called her out. "Weng, bakit basa buhok mo?" i asked her. the woman did not turn around nor answer. from my back, my sister suddenly appeared and said, "ate, di naman basa hair ko ah.. san ka ba nakatingin?

and then it hit me. i must have seen a ghost! i looked back at our living room and the lady wasn't there anymore. weird!! my eyes grew big and my son started crying. i hushed him up but he won't stop! my sister whispered to my ears, ate, bukas na naman yata yung isang mata mo. may nakita ka na naman noh? i just nodded and went to bed and put my son to sleep.

i wasn't able to sleep that night. the image of the woman floating in the air letting her hair dry still appeared on my mind. when i told my mum about it, she said, sabi ko sa yo, wag mo nang paalisin si Coleen pagkatapos ng ulan eh. hayan, may sumabay sa kanya na kaluluwa, nakipayong siguro at nakita electric fan natin, nakigamit. nagpatuyo.. ano, naniniwala ka na? ikaw tong may third eye sa atin, pero ayaw mong gamitin..

i admit to have been seeing things unseen by others from time to time.. whether in the office or in our house in Pampanga.. this has happened before when i was still in my old company. i hate this nagging feeling that i have a third eye. i don't want to see ghosts. but i'm not really afraid of them. whatever had happened, i swear, it was not just my imagination.

the next day, my mum narrated my expereince to my uncles and aunts and to her friend. these folks believe in ghosts and they agreed that what i saw that night was a white lady who needed to dry her hair and clothes. i still can't get over it.

geee.. tumatayo na naman ang balahibo ko!
