it really is a small world, after all...

i discovered something unusual today.. so unusual that i couldn't help but wonder and react... the world is indeed small.. because in my case, i never knew i would meet the girl that my husband used to date.. or should i say, niligawan dati ng asawa ko nung mga binata at dalaga kami.. let's call her novie..

5 years ago, i was still involved with my ex-bf and marc was someone i knew in the office. during our break timie, marc would share stories about his ex-gf Crista and how they broke up. then his good friend, Robin gave him a blind-date. the girl's name is novie. Marc said they dated one time only and played badminton. when he realized that they won't click and they aren't really compatible, they stopped texting & stopped seeing each other.

a year after, i broke up with my ex and Marc courted me and then later, we became Mr. and Mrs. Santos.

last week, i learned from my officemate Chen that she also have a friend named Robin and novie. when i heard Robin's and Novie's name, parang, it rang a bell to my ears.. but i couldn't seem to remember where and when i hear her name.

then yesterday, when i saw Chen talked to the new girl (in the manual team) named Novie, i began to wonder - - - could this girl be the same lady that Marc used to court when he was still single?

this morning, while taking a shower, i thought of Novie again.. i said to myself, i have to talk to Chen to make sure that my guess is correct..

so i went to Chen's pod and asked her about Novie.. I asked her too about Robin.. it turns out that the Robin she knows was exactly the same Robin that I used to know in my previous company who gave Marc a blind date... then i boldly asked Chen, "si Novieba yung friend nyo ni Robin na sinetup nya ng date kay Marc noon?"

then Chen's eyes lit up and she bursted out, "oh my, yes, i remember now! yes, Ivy used to date a man named Marc who was also Robin's friend.. oh my, claire.. i didn't know.."

well, it's okay on my part.. there's nothing to worry about.. i just realized that we lived in a real small world after all..
