last week's roundup

i just thought i'm gonna share what were the events that took place while i was away from the blogging world... here's my one-week roundup..

august 26: i went to work.. was on a swap sked with michelle.. was alone in my pod.. my other team mates were having their rest day, while i was by myself in my usual place, not minding other's business.. *ganun pala feeling pag pumasok ka sa day-off mo.. super boring!*



august 27: early morning, i packed some of our clothes for a one-week vacation in Mexico.. my kids' Yaya, however, decided to visit her hometown (Pangasinan).. at 9am, we parted ways..



august 28: in the afternoon: my husband and i went to SM Pampanga to buy grocery items.. when we finished filling our shopping cart, we went to the nearest cashier booth to pay.. while paying, a group of baggers suddenly formed a small circle and then a medley of danceable tunes hit the airwaves.. apparently, there was a small program for SM Employees and the baggers were in charge of the "performance"... nice to see guys strutting to hit songs like "Bebot," "Kembot", "Boom Tarat", "Itaktak Mo" among others.. sayang, i wasn't able to capture the scenes on video, i forgot to bring my camera..



kudos to SM Pampanga for the entertainment they provided for the shopgoers :)



august 29: hubby and i got hooked with Prison Break.. dvd marathon.. couch lambingan to the max.. hehehe..



august 30: when we rushed Kian to the "masungit na doctor" because he had been vomiting for some time... read previous post for more info ..



august 31: continued nursing Kian.. went to another pediatrician for follow-up (and got second opinioin).. night-time, we resumed watching season 2 of Prison Break..



sept. 1: start of SM Pampanga's 3day sale.. also celebrated Grandparent's Day... Robinson's also had their 3day sale.. super traffic! lots of shoppers! bought clothes for two sons...



sept 2: my panganay paid a visit to some of his (paternal) cousins sa kabilang barangay.. Kyle enjoyed playing "Hide & Seek" and reading / coloring children's books..



sept 3: end of vacation.. we went back to our house in Metro Clark subdivision.. was surprised when my neighbor told me that we were almost robbed the other night!



apparently, kuya Jun (my neighbor at the back) noticed a man wearing a black jacket, 12 midnight, sa likod ng bahay namin.. the black man was holding a hammer... when kuya Jun lit his flash light, biglang tumakbo ang lalaki..



when i learned about this, my husband and i checked our back windows.. truly, yung mga pako sa gilid ng mga rehas sa bintana namin ay naka-loose.. talagang balak kaming pagnakawan.. i also noticed the grass.. halatang dinaanan at inapakan.. buti na lang nauwi kami agad, because if not, baka maabutan naming limas na ang mga gamit namin..



we thanked God for saving us..



sept 4: back to work na ako.. haayyy... bitin ang bakasyon!!
