getting back to school

i received a text message from my childhood friend , Arnold last Friday morning.. it read:

Cleck, finorward ko # mo kay Harris, ung classm8 ntin nung elem. he wants to keep in touch with us. number mo lng meron ako. may # k b nina marilou, maricris at anthony? mag-organize ka ng reunion natin (elem class 1992). wag ka na umangal, ikaw class president natin eh.. hehehe.

and what d'ya know? early this morning, I received an e-mail from Jumar, my high school buddy. it read:

What do you say about having a class reunion? I think it's time for all of us to have one since it's been eleven years since we graduated. to tell you the truth, I'm very eager about this reunion. The big question is when? I mean if we wanted a reunion, which I think most of us does, somebody will need to lead to make it happen right? and i believe that YOU can do that! If the reunion doesn't push thru, what about having a small get together of our closed friends, together with our families, just to see each other again after all those years. What do you think?

wow... talk about coincidence, huh..

two of my old chaps decided that it's time for us to hold our class reunion.. wow.. how time flies! it seems like only months ago when i was thinking about my high school life and now, my past is catching up on me...

and they want ME to lead the reunion thingy! whoa!!

this means:

i have to get all their contact numbers or e-mail addresses ASAP..

i have to get in touch with them every now and then...

i have to research for the perfect place to hold the party..

i have to make sure that the reunion date will not affect anyone's business..

i have to make sure that every one will be attending the reunion...

i have to make sure that we have a big budget..

i have to contact party places and make arrangements...

i have to file for a week-long leave so i can do all the things i need to do...

worst,

i have to get in touch with my enemies (the high school bullies ) who never had any good words for me..

ahhhh...

buti na lang i haven't said YES to this stuff.. i can still ask the others to do this thing.. hehehe..

reunions, parties, jam sessions...

wow.. i suddenly miss school!!
