robots in disguise

they came... i saw.. we were conquered..

yes... the Autobots & Decepticons arrived on Earth for one main reason.. to get AllSpark.. the cube.. that huge 4 dimensional artifact that can transform things to another gadget.. yes.. that thing that created Transformers..

let me just say, i surely want to watch this movie again!! with all the fanfare & hysteria sweeping the horizons, who wouldn't want to get into the action, right?

if u remember, i was really in a foul mood last Saturday (i didn't feel well) that i thought of skipping my movie date with my husband.. but i reckon, if we don't get to watch it, my husband and i might get into a rift. yeah, he's a big Prime fanatic and he has been bugging me to watch this so if i say no, he'll truly get mad.. hehe..

and so, to the theather we went.. first, we dropped by SM Clark to check the showtimes.. we were hoping to buy tickets & snacks first.. but as we approached the Ticket booth, we saw the long queue of moviegoers waiting in line.. we never thought that there were still many people who haven't watch the movie since it has been opened to the public for two weeks now.. well, one thing Marc doesn't really like is waiting.. so we decided to go to Robinson's Mall & hoped there's a shorter queue..

fortunately, we were able to catch the 5pm screening and grab the loveseat at the balcony area... man, it was hot! hot as in mainit, because the cinema was almost full-packed... in a few minutes, Optimus Prime's voice was heard..."before time began, there was ... the cube...."

at first, i was really giddy {dizzy} watching because of my headache and muscle pains.. my husband kept on asking if i'm okay.. so i said yes.. then when the camera pans to this hot military man, i knew that i have to keep an eye on him throughout the film..

yeah, i'm referring to Josh Duhamel.. yum-yum!

if most guys want to watch Transformers because of Megan Fox (who's got a hot bod, by the way.. but acting-wise - zilch!), well, the ladies are also in for a mouthful Captain Lennox..

the ruggedly handsome Casino part-time owner (i'm referring to the TV series, Las Vegas!) showed his prowess and humor i was laughing out loud when he was calling through a cellphone and a certain Qatari was selling him items, hahaha and his love for his wife & kid (cutie!) in the said film.. damn, fergie sure is sooo lucky to get this man on her bed.. whoa!!!

oopss... were drifting to a different topic now.. let's go back to Transformers, okay?

Sam Witwicky is the guy to beat, eh? Lucky Sam! he's got Mikaela on his right arm and Bumblebee on the other! tough luck! i found Shia LaBeouf's character fascinating and sexxxyy.. just look at his baby-doll eyes.. weee!

anyway...

here are my favorite scenes in the movie:

- when Bumblebee kicked the Volks Beetle at his side door [note to Bumblebee, hey! you were supposed to be THE Beetle, right? hehehe..] nice kick, though!

- Capt Lennox talking to his wife & baby in a computer/videotape.. touching.. !

- Autobots transforming to cars, and cars transforming to Robots.. cool!

- every time Optimus Prime says: Autobots, transform! Autobots: Recon... Autobots: Rollout! and so on...

- all the (robotic) fight scenes - thumbs up!

- when Bumblebee played those classic hits to get Sam & Mikaela's attention.. ("Baby come back... every kind of fool should see...")....

- when Prime & the Autobots were hiding while Sam's parents were talking to him...

- when Bumblebee got pissed after Mikaela said something about his chassis and then he drove off and came back as a newly furnished Chevy Camaro 2006 edition.. wicked!

- when Starscream transformed or disguised into one of the Raptors, then fire at them, then went back to being Starscream... and then turned into a Raptor again and joined them in firing bullets against Megatron.. yahoo!! way to go, Screamy.. i realized, in that scene, that you really want to dethrone Megatron as the leader of the Decepticons.. hehehe..

- Capt. Lennox commanding his troops to do this and that and this and that... (can i just say, every scene that Josh is in, yun ang gusto ko? Lol!)

overall, i'm satisfied with what i've seen.. but it would have been better if i didn't have a headache.. true, i stayed glued to my seat while watching the film, but in between some scenes, i held my head and closed my eyes.. i was really dead-tired at the cinema, but seeing my husband's happy face (smiling lips til it reaches his ears), who am i to spoil the fun?!

aftermath reaction: just like what karmi said , i'd like to have a nice, sassy Chevy Camaro too!! Bumblebee is really cute!!!
