good ol' bryan
Bryan Balajadia! [applause...applause.. applause... ]
in a week's time, my good friend, bryan, would soon be leaving our company.. this means, we (YGM Team) only got one week to spend quality time with our number 1 favorite prankster...
bryan, or brye, as we fondly call him, has been with AOL for almost 4 years.. i remember the time when i met him two summers ago (2004). at first, he used to call me "ate"... ang galang, noh? then, after a month, wala na... kalokohan na ang tawagan namin... one time, i call him "Kamuning", kasi he says that word in a gayish manner.. sobra akong napatawa nyan with his crazy antics.. di nawawalan ng istorya... he's like Pringles.. once he pops, he can't stop.. yadayadayada!!!
there are really no dull moments when he's around.. really nice and easy to get along with, you will really feel at ease when you're with him.. can't you tell.. i only got nice words for him..
NOT!!!!
brye is not that perfect.. he has flaws too.. he knows how to cry.. he commit mistakes.. what's good is, he learns from these mistakes.. he's good in giving advice and how to receive one..
bryan and i had come a long way.. i'm lucky because i'm one of the firsts whom he confided his feelings for Sarah Jane, his girlfriend of 2 years.. when my husband, Marc, was still courting me, Bryan was the very first who saw us watch a movie together and the first to learn about our relationship.. with this newfound friendship, we went to Enchanted Kingdom with our better halves and spent the whole day together.. from that day on, our bonds just became tighter and tighter.. i can say that he's the twin brother i never had..
anyway, so much for the drama.. i actually asked some of my peers to share what they know about Bryan and here's what we all learned about him..

he doesn't eat tuyo.. doesn't even want to taste one... in other words, he hates tuyo...
his favorite "palaman sa pandesal" ay sardinas... [555 ba o Ligo, brye?? ]
his favorite "viand" or ulam is sinigang > lahat ng uri ng sinigang!
he loves his car so much. he's so into car.. he's a F1 and Ferrari die hard fan...

favorite perfume - Polo Sport for Men syempre.. Lolz
he is the noisiest in his Batch.. he's also oen of the noisiest in our team especially when he's around with his pals...
he used to smoke but he quit because of health reasons... [unbelievable]
he used to be a heavy drinker but managed to quit too... [amazing!!]
when he was still a drunkard (sorry, heavy word, wala ako maisip eh), one time, he almost paid his bills twice, (sa sobrang kalasingan, muntik na syang magbayad sa bar, twice!)
he wears souvenir shirts (like one from Baguio, Cebu, Davao) just like her gf....
he and her gf wears tribu sandals. he has Old navy sandals too which he plan to sell to us to help her cousin. (mura daw compared to stores outside.. hehehe)
he's good at taking care of his things. He used to have 6600 which still looks so brand-new despite the fact that he's been using it for more than a year....
maselan sa pagkain and mahinhin kumain ... (when he's with the CS team, he rarely eats.. the girls are the ones who devour the food more than he does..
has a lot of sense of humor although hindi lang nga halata kasi he's expert in pretending to be a serious man...[aminin, magaling ka sa acting!]
neat -freak.. sa kotse, cellphone, shoes, hair, clothes, house, etc..
he was once part of a cheerdance group... [si brye, cheerer?? eeep!]
he met his girlfriend Sarah through a Cheerleading competition... it began in Africa........
he filed a week long vacation and flew to Davao just to visit his GF....
he doesn't drink coffee nor softdrinks anymore, he insists that he's a changed man upon learning that he's acidic...?!
he's a homeboy, mama's boy, boytoy, lover boy.. basta boy...
afternoon TV habit - EAT BULAGA!!!
he loves movies about fast cars - The Fast & The Furious 1&2, Italaian Job, XXX, Gone in 60 Seconds... even Disney's CARS

Bryan Balajadia.. time is of the essence.. let me then take this moment to tell you that for the past 4 years that i've known you, i think i never told you how much i appreciate you.. i guess now is the right time.. remember that wherever you will go, your Ate Claire (na lagi mong niloloko at iniinis) will always pray for you and your family and loved ones.. i will never get mad at you.. take good care of my mama Sarah and take care of yourself too.. whatever path you take, don't forget to look back .. and look UP..
