bumblebee!!!

everyone's talking about Transformers!!!

my team's abuzz with excitement as Lewlac shares his experience at the theater while watching X4mers.. all i can hear from him was.."wow, pare...balu mo itang.... ay grabeh pare.. kadagul na.... ay wa! kasanting pare!! tutu!!!" (wow, pare.. alam mo yung.... ay grabeh pare... naglalakihan talaga! .. ay oo.. ang ganda pare!!" totoo!! )

nainggit tuloy ako.. di pa kami nanood ni honey ko.. he's still quite stressed out after their break-out session yesterday.. sayang.. he only got a few votes.. someone from the Netscape Department garnered an average of 60% of votes.. kudos to him.. sorry, i forgot his name..

anyway.. here's some info i learned about Bumblebee in the movie!

If you're a true blue Transformer fan, dapat ito yung itsura ni Bumblebee sa Transformers! hindi yung Chevy Camaro!


iniba nila ang style nung mga cars.. Bumblebee, supposed to be a yellow volks beetle. Kaso ginawa nilang Chev Camaro.
 
according to Volkswagen Company, ayaw nila ipagamit un car nilang Volks (bettle) nila sa isang violent movie.. Volkswagen doesnt want to give the beetle license to anyone... they dont want their cars to be associated with anything war related. That's the reason why there are still no bumblebee alternator

... Also, the producers of the show have a tie-up with GM. kung mapapansin nyo, most of the autobots are GM vehicles. 

Isa pang reason, according to the director, Michael Bay, he doesn't want people to compare Bumblebee with Disney's Herbie movie where Herbie is a Love Bug..
  
Bay went for the Chevrolet Camaro as he felt the car had a friendliness befitting Bumblebee. and as a result the other Autobots also became GM-owned vehicle lines, saving money with product placement.
