baa baa "black sheep"

here we go again.. my sister's alter-ego has come to life.. the other "dark" side of Jean is unleashed..

yesterday, me and my hubby were supposed to watch Fantastic Four.. but when i got home, i noticed my mom crying.. i asked her: what happened?

turned out - my other younger sister Weng called because she and her ate Jean had a dispute. Weng was crying when she told mum about Jean's behavior at home.. (my sisters and brother are in Pangasinan, my mum's with me here in Pampanga to help me with my two kids)..

Weng said, her Ate Jean does nothing at all in our house.. when Weng goes to school in the morning, she would do the dishes first and fix her room.. when she comes home in the afternoon, she sees uncleaned plates in the sink and the whole house is a mess.. she expects her Ate Jean to do the household chores, since she's the Ate and she doesn't have a job yet - so the house should be her responsibility..

but what does she see?? our youngest & only brother is laundrying their clothes.. while their ate Jean was busy doing her own thing... that is - playing PS2... computer games and sometimes watching movies on DVD.. wow.. such a fine life!!!!!!!

what made matters worse, Jean hasn't cooked dinner.. she commanded the hapless and tired Weng to boil the rice and cook their viand.. of course, weng got upset! my sister freaked out and screamed - "ate naman, iaasa mo pa sa kin eh wala ka na ngang ginagawa sa bahay!! mahiya ka naman!"

yes.. that was what my youngest sister said to her older ate. of course, Jean got fired up.. she threw her a menacing look and shouted, "wala kang kwenta!"

and soon they were hollering in the house.. my brother, Jonas heard of this so he rushed inside the house, with bubbles in his hand clearly not yet done washing up their clothes and stopped the two girls from bickering..

when he thought everything's settled afterwards, he was in for a surprise.. when Weng was about to cook, she noticed that there's no more gas.. so she asked Jean again if she can spare her money so they can buy LPG.. but Jean, the antagonist and hard-headed one, refused to lend money because she still can't forgive Weng and Jonas for ganging up on her. Jonas then said, in his controlled voice, "sige, mamatay na tayong lahat dito!!" and went out of the house..

my sensitive sister, Weng, who's the "sickly " girl in the family, gasped for her breath because she couldn't take it anymore.. she's been crying for hours .. she then called my mum and told her that she'll be going to Pampanga to stay with us, even for just one week.. she couldn't bear living with her ate anymore..

i called them back at home.. i told weng, she can pack some of her clothes and transfer here for a while.. i wanted to talk to jean but she refused.. she's adamant that she did nothing wrong and that it was weng who made her lose her temper.. ahhh!!! sibling rivalry! why do i always have to deal with it... damn!

i admit, i was never close to my younger sister, Jean.. coz we can never agree on anything.. she and i never have something in common.. she's pretty, she's classy, she's got pointed nose, and i don't have any of those.. but that doesn't mean i'm jealous.. because it's the other way around.. she always insisted that i'm the family pet.. my mum & dad's favorite.. because i always get what i want.. which is true.. which may be the reason my sister always thinks that she's a nobody and that nobody loves her.. that's why she's been "rebelling" even when she was a kid.. she always say that she's not intelligent nor smart that's why mum don't have any patience with her.. ahhhh....

i don't know what to do with her already.. now that i'm already married and have moved out of her ancestral house, i still feel the burden of dealing with her peskiness and treatment to our younger siblings.. i pity Weng and Jonas for having to deal the same experience that i had when i was still with them.. i really wish my sister would get her act together so my family would be happy..

ahhh...
