my so-called life...

Huge events take place on this earth every day. Earthquakes, hurricanes, even glaciers move. So why couldn't he just look at me?

that's one of my favorite quotes from the defunct tv series, "My So Called Life" by Angela Chase aka Claire Danes... i'm not really a big, big fan of the show.. well, maybe a little... ... err... okay yes, i LOVED MYSCL... i liked the plot or the storyline about a troubled girl, finding her spot in this vast universe, seeking solitude amongst her friends, secretly wishing to end up with the man named Jordan.. i liked the series in its entirety..

this series is catchy & special to me.. because i was also once this young gal who faced a lot of idiosyncrasies in life... i was once an Angela Chase who fell in love with a certain Jordan Catalano.... i had issues about everyone else too.. my life was a rollercoaster of events... that's why my blog is entitled "my so-called life".. i kinda got attached to it.. (and not because i have the same name with the main character of the story.. )

i'm kinda sad because this series lasted for only season.. it did not click in the US TV ratings.. why? because the time that it was aired, it was sandwiched between the series for "the rich and famous" Beverly Hills 90210 and the series for the hopelessly romantics, Dawson's Creek.. back then, i was only 15 years old when i sit in front of the tv and watch Jared Leto & Claire Danes do their thing.. and at the tender age of 15, i was able to relate to their characters.. it was an amazing show.. sadly, my tv life had gone wayhire when it ended.. it broke my heart to bits..

the next best thing after My So-Called Life? that would be Felicity!! yes, you see, i'm more of a teen drama fanatic and i'm gonna post more about it on my next entry next week.. right now, i wish i could watch re-runs of MSCL again..
