blogging 101
1.) Where do you blog? I mean, what’s your host?
i blog on 4 servers - Blogspot,
2.) How long have you been blogging? When did you start blogging?
hmm.. with Diaryland, i started September 30 of 2002. here was my first post .. i stopped blogging there last year, August 25, 2006 .. so, i had diaryland for almost 4 years! wow!..
with Blogger naman - i started August of last year too.. then i created another account for my kids .. still blogging here..
with Multiply, i created it so there's a place where I can keep my family's pictures .. yes, i'm still blogging there..
and for my fangirling LJ, i just started creating an account last month!.. what an accomplishment.. hehehe..
3.) What pushed you to start blogging?
one day (in year 2002), i was browsing through the PEX website and noticed a thread for Blog users.. i wondered what blog meant.. i entered the section and learned about web logging and i noticed a lot of other pexers keep online journals where they gladly share their stories on the Internet. it perked up my inquisitive mind, so from then on, i started creating one..
4.) Why do you blog? What's the purpose of a blog in your case?
several reasons.. the very first one was because i needed an outlet where i can vent all my frustrations and inner thoughts.. then i realized that i want others to know how i was doing - more like informing my friends and previous acquiantances about my life.. lastly, i want to read what i have written a year ago and contemplate on how immature i was then.. oh, and i also want a place where i can keep some of my memorable pics, that's why i got multiply, hehehe.
5.) Why is your blog named like that?

okay, it started in college, my favorite cousin always called me ClaireTut and i called him back Atot (yuck, ang bantot.. lolz)
6.) How much do you know about HTML, CSS, PHP, Java, and Photoshop before?
i only knew about HTML and Java before.. learned it from College.. minimal only on CSS and PHP.. Photoshop, konti lang din coz i learned about it only from a former boardmate.
7.) How much do you know about HTML, PHP, CSS, Java, and Photoshop now?
hmm.. PHP, I think I'm okay with it.. now i have a wider knowledge about CSS and Photoshop..
8.) How frequent do you blog?
with diaryland, almost everyday, i blogged.. with Blogger, only when i have wonderful or sad news to share.. with LJ, almost everyday too!! that's the luxury of working on an ISP company, hehehe..
9.) Who are your first friends in the blogging scene?
in diaryland.. it was my officemate Gio, who first knew about my diary.. then came Enzo.. after a month, i made friends with my fellow pexers (and blogmates) Karen , Angeli , chynna , nicole and datch ..
in LJ, all my MSP buddies (F4natics) are on my Flist =)
10.) Anyone who flamed you online? How did you handle the situation?
i don't remember how many times i got upset and got mad over flaming comments.. when i received one for the very first time, i bashed him up on my blog and i posted the entry in CAPS lock.. but after two days, i realized i was so mean so i deleted that post and just ignored those who flamed me afterwards..
11.) How many lay-out changes have you done? What is your fave? Did you make it yourself or did you get it from a site like BlogSkins?
again, i don't remember... hehehe.. my very first layout in diaryland was my own creation. it was a WITCH-inspired layout, because i love the comics WITCH so much.. here's how it looked like:
back then, i was still a novice in blogging & layouting.. then after a couple of years, i learned about BlogSkins and i made some friends there and asked them to make a layout for me since I no longer have enough time to do one due to office constricts too...
12.) How long does you blog load?
same with laurene ... it takes quite long to load my blog, prolly because of the animated pics and long entries that i've posted..
13.) How many hits are there in your SiteMeter?
right now it's
14.) How many URLs have you used?
i've got at least 4 URLs, three of them contains the same username - claire2kitty diaryland, blogspot & livejournal . in my multiply naman, i use kyleadam.multiply.com .. the others - secreettt.. hehehe..
15.) How many blogs do you have?
i have 4 active blogs > 2 in Blogspot, LiveJournal and my kids are in Multiply.. i have an inactive one in diaryland and 2 secret blogs = 1 in modblog & another in blogger - (those are personal stuffs - hmm.. more like marital stuffs, hehehe.. naughty naughty!!)
16.) What do you talk about in your blog?
in blogspot - about my life at work and at home with my kids.. in LJ, about my Fangirl life i'm a devout Asian fan - F4, JPop, JDorama, Koreanovelas
17.) Do you understand fully well the Bloggers' Code of Ethics? What part do you practice? What part do you not practice?
I practice the direct linking category.. the rest.. no.. hehe.
18.) Are you OC on grammar and typos?
Not really.. i just type what's on my mind.. i save them first on drafts.. then post them.. after i read the entry multiple times, that's the time that i get jiddy with typos and grammar.. hehehe...
19.) Anyone who copied something from you? What did you do?
none than i know.. maybe just copied one of my entries, but that's all because he wants to share them to others too.. i guess!
20.) Anyone who thought your blog's offensive? How did you deal?
the only time that someone said my blog is kinda offensive is when i first published my "other" blogger about my married life, which got lots of naughty stuffs in there strictly for adults only, hahaha coz that was for my married life adventures.. i forgot to keep it Private so someone sent me an e-mail and asked if i can be his bedmate!! i said, what the f*ck!!! so i took down that blog, renamed the URL and now it's really for Private use only....
21.) Who are your favorite bloggers? What blogs do you frequent?

22.) What is you favorite entry? Least favorite?
i love all the entries i've written on all my blogs.. can't think of a particular most favorite at this time.. least favorite? hmm.. cguro yung mga about my "pasts".. yun yun!
23.) What can you say about the people who open blogs just because it's the current fad? How do you feel about glitter graphics and sticky caps? What is your standpoint regarding the "Save the Vowels" campaign?
answer to that three questions? no violent comments at all .. everyone has the freedom to write whatever they want, so go... i would still read your blog even if it's full of graphics, blinkies, glitters, pics, entries... i love reading blogs !!
24.) Are you a camwhore? Where did that expression come from?
Not exactly.. i just want to take pics of interesting people, interesting subjects and a little of myself sometimes.. but not to the point that i'd do camwhoring every single day of my life.. jejeje.
25.) Any favorite blog designers?
designs of #lalabell and Nocturnal Devil...
26.) Won any Blog Award? Or featured in any site?
won none.. mine was just nominated before in PH Blog Awards..

Mariz and Karen are my most frequent commentors in my blogger.. on my livejournal naman, almost all of my LJ friends comment there..

actually, i've actually eyeballed with my LJ friends before i created livejournal.. on my blogger, most of my blog friends are my office mates, like Dei, Mariz, Jing, Noze..
29.) Do you think every Blogger is into books and reading?
i believe so.. yes!
30.) Did blogging change you in any way?
yes, i guess, coz writing entries and reading other blogs broadened my horizons and helped me learn a lot about other people.. <
