pet peeves...

what things could possibly irritate me... something that takes the bejesus out of me? of course, everyone has some things that really get into their skins.. we can't just take them out of this world, can we?

anyway, i happened to pass by and read ms. Lea's site about her pet peeves, which then inspired me to create a list for myself... so here's some of them, in my case. (it's not that much, though)

number one on my list will definitely be: backfighters! oh yeah! i really hate those kind of bitches who would flatter you & even sing praises about you, and then drop the bomb when you turn your back.. such hideous characters! makes me want to strangle them from head to toe... ick!

next would be: dirty nails (both on fingers and toes)... i don't care if you have just had a hand spa or foot massage and your veins are almost bulging out... what irritates me is seeing ditzy-soiled toe nails and sloppy nail polishes... i'd rather see your nails so short yet clean.. i don't know why it bothers me when i see ghostly nails... ick!!!

third.... super-high volumed TV or radio stations! my head really blows up when i hear loud sounds... can't other people just appreciate music in a toned-down setting? when i see kids these days playing uber loud music, may the angels help me, but i might just really spank them really hard!! ugh!

another tv-related annoying habit that irks me is the constant pushing of buttons on the remote control... my gosh! i really hate it when my hubby watches TV.. he'd watch a portion of a show, then all of a sudden, would switch to another channel, then another, then another...not understanding any of the shows at all.. he says watching only one network keeps him bored.. well, in my case, i'd feel much bored if i see one show after the other, without really learning what the program is all about.. ugh!

note: if you intend to watch a TV program with me, don't ever touch that dial.. ok? if u are into a certain show, watch it till the end.. be loyal to the station you are viewing! (in my case, i'm a solid kapamilya, hehehe!!)

next pet peeve: getting spam/junk e-mails!!! eeeek!!! good thing my Mail Controls (on AOL ) work the way it is supposed to.. more often than not, when i access my messages through another ISP sorry Yahoo, i see more junk mails than legti ones.. who woulnd't get annoyed seeing these as subjects: "v1agra", "fcuk", "l0ng pen1s"... so on and so forth.... ugh!!! curse you, spam mail bombers!!!

next to the list: name-calling... just because you are considered a "beauty queen" (and i'm not!) doesn't mean that you have the right to call me any names you want to.. how would you react if the tables were turned, and i'm crowned "Miss Universe".. would you want me calling you "AssHole?"... hell no! right? you know who you are!

okay.. where are we now??...

oh yeah.. pet peeves... next would be: mispronounced words and grammatically wrong statements... why? that's self-explanatory.. period!

more on the list:

- seeing guys stomping their feet while seated - eeww!! where are your manners!?

- seeing dead hair (as in patay na buhok) on my head.. i just hate the feel of it!

- my attention always being called by a snoop sup.. ugh!

- talking to a person who does not seem to be listening to me at all!

- bad breath or body odor (everyone else hates this too, right?)

- liars... hypocrites...

- self-appointed leaders... self-proclaimed experts... basta self-induced characteristics...

- leg cramps - especially when i'm pregnant, i get lots of this.. really hurts!

and so on and so forth.... i'll just edit/update this entry later if i get all my act together.. i'm kinda sleepy now.. hehehe..
