oops! he did it again!

Congratulations to the People's Champ, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao for a job well done!!

I'm currently at the office smiling brightly after watching the last fight between Pacman and El Terible! I am not really a big fan of boxing, but when it comes to Pacman, i would gladly await and watch his bout, because it makes me proud to be a Pinoy...

Super featherweight superstar Manny Pacquaio (43-3-2, 33 KOs) annihilated Erik Morales (48-5, 24 KOs) on Saturday night at the Thomas & Mack Arena in Las Vegas. Pacquiao dropped Morales with a left hand in round two, but Erik got up and fought back hard. Pacquiao knocked down Morales twice in round three and after the last knockdown Morales shook his head no. Pacquiao wins by KO at 2:57 of round three!

that's a great feat! i still remember when Pacman lost to Morales a year ago - which was about a month before I gave birth to my first born.. my mum and i stayed glued to our seats as we watch Pacman fell down into the hands of Morales.. the nation was shocked at that time, because everyone was expecting Manny to win.. too bad, he wasn't in great shape before, during and after the event..

but when he asked for a rematch early this year, i believed that Pacman will be able to rise again. and he proved it to the world that he can smackdown the handsome Morales. of course, everyone rejoiced in this feat.

now, the time has come to decide who really is stronger and much fitter to wear the Super Featherweight belt.. i never did doubt Manny's ability to pulvorize Erik.. and just a few hours ago, with so much anticipation and admiration for his fighting skills, Pacman again showed to us how speedy he is! within just three rounds, handsome Morales was then seen looking glum and so much exhausted in his corner.. truly, Manny ended this Trilogy fight with style!

now, my officemates are sharing jokes about the recent Morales quote that we saw on TV. A week before the Grand Finale, we saw Morales on a tv channel, saying, "Ako ang Tatapos" (I will end the battle!)...

but after the battle, my pals recounted that the words that Morales should have said was..."Ako ang Tinapos" (I was finished!) hehehe..
