happy thanksgiving!

it's Thanksgiving Day!! this is a special tradition in the States. Americans celebrate this occasion as their time to offer thanks and hold special family gatherings, complete with turkey stuffings and pumpkin pie..

although we do not celebrate this event here in the Philippines, i would still like to commemorate this occasion for all the wonderful blessings that came my way, this year 2006.. there are so many things that i would like to thank for, so i dedicate this blog to all those who made my year worthwhile....

of course, utmost gratitude is offered to the Lord, Our God, who has been my Guiding Light, Knight in Shining Armour, Personal Advisor and Moral Supporter for the past 27 years.. He has been here with me and my family all through-out.. Without Him, i wouldn't be here at all..

Dear Lord, we thank you for all the blessings that you bestowed upon us and for gracing our lives each and everyday.. i know that a simple Thank You is enough for you to know that we are truly blessed and that we love You so much!!

~~~~ i would also like to extend my gratitude to the following people who made my life complete and meaningful..~~~~~

1. to my better half, Marc Anthony Santos - who has been such a very loving and nurturing husband and friend, from the moment I gave my love to him, till this very minute and until the last of our breaths... thank you Honey, for the love and support and understanding... words are not enough for me to express how truly, madly, deeply i'm in love with you..

2. to my first born son, Kyle Adam, who completed my role as a woman and a mother.. my dear little carbon copy, it is you who changed my perspective in life and who has shown me that the greatest happiness comes in little packages.. i thank you for your little smooches, hugs, baby talks, sweet rambles, soft touches, silly smiles and occasional cries.. i love you so much bebe.. you and dada mean the world to me!

and also, stay tuned for my second baby boy, Cyrus Mico, who will be joining us early next year.. i can't wait to hold you in my arms, my sweetie.. thank you for making me a proud & glowing mommy!

3. to my mum... who has been there for me since i was born and until i give birth to my own.. who has always been my pillar of strength and guidance counsellor.. thank you so much mum, for all the things that you've done for me and my siblings.. without you, i don't know if i could ever survive at all.. Thank you!

4. my dad - even though you are far away from us, i know that you still want the best for your children... even though i did not grow up with a father figure, like other kids did, i know that from the moment i was welcomed to the world, you were very proud to have me and you are always at my side. thank you for the support that you give to me and mum, and for the love that you share with us, across the miles... thank you!

5. my siblings - Jean, Weng and Nash, for all the fights that we used to have, for all the things that we share and for all the wonderful messages that we give each other even if we're apart.. i know i haven't been the most gracious "Ate" that you had, but remember that deep inside of me, i want you to be the best that you could be and that i love you all so much, no favoritism nor comparison at all.. thank you!

also thanks to my cousin, Colleen, for helping me out with Kyle.. i know he can be troublesome at times, and i appreciate your patience for that matter.. thank you so much dear, i owe you a lot.. mwah!

6. my parents in-law... for bringing Marc to this Earth and taking care of me from the very first time we met... thank you so much for all the love and support that you give to our growing family... i'm blessed to have you in my life... thanks!

7. my AOL Family - for giving me the work that i need and for allowing me to grow as a person... for believing in my ability and for being the bridge that connected me with my honey.. thank you so much!

8. my highschool friends - whom i missed so much! Cat, Annie, Jessica, Virgie Rosellie & Jhumar- we have been friends and been together during our four years in high-school.. the memories you shared with me are still on my mind and will forever dwell there until we meet again.. thank you!

9. my bestfriend, Madonna - i know that we haven't seen each other for almost 3 years now.. you know that i haven't met anyone as loving, sweet, thoughtful and caring as you.. i guess i will never find anyone like you... i'm blessed to have you, my best friend.. and even though we don't see each other lately, remember that no one will ever replace you in my heart.. i love you mhadz!!

10. my elementary buddies - Edielyn, Mayet, Alona & Marilou, for helping me while we were all growing up, for sharing dreams with me and for the friendship that is still instilled in our hearts.. thank you for not forgetting... i miss you all..

11. my college pals - Mafie, Wilson, Edwardson, Willy, Ryan Alexis, Urduja, Shirley, Donnalyn, Raquel, Maricris, & Joel - thank you my dear friends, for being with me during our last four years in Computronix, and for introducing me to the real world.. thanks!

12. my KASAMA Council - Marlon, Karen Princess, Jose, Claire, Jimmy, Harlie & Ronald Allan - for helping me find my true self and for making me understand the true meaning of life.. thanks for letting me in to the council and acting as a medium to meet all kinds of people in all walks of life.. the Council has helped me open my eyes to know the difference between reality & reel life.. thank you so much!

13. my Chiang boardmates - Sharry, Daisy, Dei, Cel, Ate Rems, Kuya Rudy, Ate Cristy, Edhen, Jingle & Darwin, for keeping me sheltered and for sharing wonderful memories, stories and night life... thank you for the happiness and love!

14. my CS foster family - Deianira, Carole, ChiChi, Tesya, LoveJoy, Skits and Lizza for adopting me to their team and for welcoming me as part of their own.. thank you!

15. Francesca - for introducing me to F4 and to my new cyber friends - Kath, Karenski, Angeli, JeL, Siena, Tin, Jill, Aggie and many more.. because of you, i'm now also into Korean, Chinese and Japanese cultures.. thanks much!!
